Valentine Media We Love

Every holiday we bust out our Charlie Brown DVDs.  When we're living overseas they help me teach my kids "American" culture (smile).

Probably my favorite kids book, EVER.

But this one is a close second!

Little People Sweet Valentine

I think I love Little People as much as my kids (if not more, ha ha!).  Seriously, ALL of my kids play with our holiday sets- the big ones and the lil ones.  It makes my heart happy.

Valentine Desserts

My kids LOVE pancakes and these doodle hearts are just adorable!

I want to make these colorful heart cookies, then write little messages on them with red gel frosting to turn them into yummy conversation hearts (because we all know the coversation hearts candy is yucky, ha ha!).

I can eat chocolate covered strawberries anyday, but for some reason they make me think of Valentine's Day.  These are so pretty too!

Strawberry flavored anything is good, but brownies- oh my these look really good!

Cupcakes are my favorite and these white and pink clouds look so cute and tasty!

This cake looks to die for.  I think this is the one I'll be making for my family this year!

To me Teddy Bears also mean Valentine's Day.  This Bear cake is so cute for the kids, but I think I'll put some eyes on him too, ha ha!

Valentine Lollipops

I love peppermint candy canes, especially the mini-ones, and even more when they are turned into cute hearts with white chocolate and sprinkles!  Love them!

I think most of Valentine's Day is girlie, but these are cute for my boys to give.  I've also seen these lollipops used as flower centers for my girl to give too.

Valentine Cards

I love the baby feet prints!  So cute to frame or make into a card to send to the grandparents!

Your school kids could make this envelope to collect their valentines from their classmates, or you could even frame it!

Paper Roses

Rosette Kissing balls- can't wait to make these with my Activity Day Girls next week!

Puffy Hearts

I heart these red and pink puffy glitter hearts from the dollar store.  They're so cute all framed up.

This puffy heart wreath makes me think I've entered Care-A-Lot (home to the Care Bears).  I so heart it!

I Heart Subway Art

My sweet friend gave me a frame with subway art for each month last year for Christmas.  I love it so much!!  The gals who designed this one are from my hometown too and we have several mutual friends.  Small world, eh!

L.O.V.E.

These LOVE blocks are so cute.

But I think I LOVE these letters even more.

February = Hearts!

February is the home of Valentine's Day and therefore it is the month of love!  Every 4 years it's also the home to Leap Frog Leap Year.  Since this is not a leap year we'll focus our attention to everything lovey dovey.

Starting with this darling paper heart backed with sheet music sitting in a lovely little frame.  The sheet music also makes me think of romantic mix music CDs you could make for your love, ha ha!

I love this comfy big heart pillow!  Usually my decor has hard finishes, but I think I need to add some soft touches too.

(Other February themes could be Groundhog's Day and every 4 years- Leap Year!)
